This observation site is located about 900 feet east of Smith Lake in the North Campus of UAF, approximately 64.86627N 147.8555W. It provides a variety of real-time data such as air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, etc.

These monitors are funded by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the International Arctic Research Center (IARC).
